Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.
Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
You will be responsible for
Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
You will need
A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
