About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Learning Delivery Manager to join our Group Learning Services team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, blended learning solutions that build capability across colleagues and managers at all levels of the business.
With strong facilitation skills and a pragmatic approach to planning and communication, you’ll create engaging learning environments that enable people to develop the skills, behaviours and values needed to deliver our strategic priorities. Learning is delivered both face-to-face and virtually, across multiple office locations, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring a consistent and inclusive learning experience across Tesco.
This role will be based in our Head Office in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and will be part-time - 22.5 hours per week.
You will be responsible for
- Delivering designed learning solutions to colleagues and managers using a range of facilitation, coaching and learning delivery techniques.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment that role models Tesco behaviours.
- Managing the delivery of the learning curriculum, ensuring the right learning is delivered to the right audience at the right time.
- Facilitating both face-to-face and virtual learning sessions, adapting your approach to different learning styles and needs.
- Evaluating learning effectiveness and measuring return on investment for colleagues, customers and the business.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders and partners about the learning offer and deployment plans.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in the learning offer, learning systems and learning libraries.
- Collaborating with Lead Learning Managers, Learning Designers, Learning Services and wider People teams to ensure consistency and quality of learning delivery.
- Reviewing attendance and learning data to improve planning and maximise impact.
- Staying curious about external learning trends and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Encouraging a self-serve learning culture and delivering outstanding service in all aspects of the role.
You will need
- Proven experience in training, facilitation and learning delivery across a variety of formats and levels.
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse learners.
- A good understanding of how people learn, including different learning styles and learning needs.
- Experience delivering learning across both colleague and management populations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate beyond your immediate team or function.
- Knowledge of learning delivery methods and learning management systems.
- An understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges and a commitment to creating inclusive learning environments.
- The ability to balance a high-level perspective with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to embrace and drive change.
