About the role

We’re looking for a Media & Campaign Planning Manager to join our Marketing Communications team. In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of our marketing function, working closely with channel specialists, data partners (such as Tesco Media & Insight Platform), and our media agency to deliver insight-led media plans. You’ll lead multiple large-scale projects with confidence, bringing advanced digital marketing expertise—including channel strategy, attribution, and tracking—while staying ahead of the evolving media landscape. You will be responsible for

  • Oversee media strategy, planning, and buying for key campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure creative aligns with media plans
  • Manage media budgets across brand, performance, and owned channels
  • Lead campaign delivery, optimization, and post-campaign analysis
  • Ensure robust tracking, measurement, and attribution
  • Present media strategies confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with agencies and stay ahead of media trends

You will need

  • Strong knowledge of digital and offline media channels, including attribution and tracking
  • Experience managing large-scale media projects and budgets
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights and deliver impactful omnichannel campaigns
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Financial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Passion for retail and innovative media planning
