About the role

Are you driven by delivering large‑scale change that truly transforms how teams work?
We’re looking for a passionate Project Manager to lead high‑priority Property strategic projects into Tesco — shaping the future of how we operate and ensuring we deliver the right projects, at the right time, in the right way.

You’ll be at the forefront of complex change work, helping us modernise ways of working and delivering programmes that are central to our long‑term strategy. From confidential organisational change projects to end‑to‑end process transformation, you’ll guide teams through change that truly matters.

The Hiring Manager for this vacancy is Linda Kerr

You will be responsible for

  • Leading strategic, high‑priority change initiatives, including organisational people‑change and end‑to‑end process transformation aligned to the Property Strategy Plan.
  • Managing and delivering confidential projects with professionalism, discretion and trust.
  • Shaping change work with leaders across the Property lifecycle — ensuring clear vision, well‑defined scopes and robust business cases.
  • Engaging teams across the wider business to ensure change is implemented collaboratively and sustainably.
  • Applying APM, MSP or Prince2 methodologies to plan, structure and deliver successful change.
  • Moving change programmes seamlessly into sustainable BAU, ensuring adoption, clarity and effectiveness.
  • Leading and inspiring high‑performing matrix teams, taking colleagues with you as you shape what the future looks like.
  • Facilitating conversations, keeping people connected and championing strong leadership behaviours across your projects.
  • Providing transparent governance, reporting and risk management across everything you deliver.

You will need

  • Proven experience leading and delivering change using APM, MSP or Prince2 methodologies.
  • Confidence managing complex and confidential organisational change.
  • Strong stakeholder management, able to keep people engaged, aligned and informed.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • A background in change, Property management, local authority or housing association - a retail background would be ideal.
  • Ability to plan, schedule and lead cross‑functional project teams.
  • Financial awareness — forecasting, budgeting and building strong business cases.
  • Resilience, adaptability and a collaborative approach.
