About the role
As a Customer Facilities Coordinator (Recycling), you will be an integral part of the Business Support team, responsible for leading all aspects of recycling operation across large and convenience stores. Your goal is to ensure stores have the right recycling options to support our customers and our suppliers deliver their contractual agreements. You will inspire change, continuously develop yourself, and maintain a reputation for delivering excellent results. Your dedication to providing outstanding service will be evident in your daily interactions and initiatives.
You will be responsible for
- Track and evaluate the performance of our suppliers, using feedback to drive continuous improvements
- Support with supervising the budgets and finances for service facilities, ensuring cost efficient operations
- Work closely with suppliers and other teams in Tesco to resolve issues, improve the recycling operation and support the implementation of innovative solutions
- Gather and act on feedback from stores and customers to improve customer recycling
- Lead communication related to recycling and ensure stores have access to up to date and relevant information to support
- Work closely with the Sustainable Waste team to improve our offer to customers
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the effective delivery of recycling plans and support the team in maintaining the operation
- Support the operationalisation of key change programs and propositions
- Ensure training materials are up to date, engaging and support colleagues to deliver the right recycling processes
- Lead projects and trials, assessing and managing any operational impacts on stores
- Follow the business code of conduct, always acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
- Previous experience in retail operations and/or manging suppliers and standards
- Able to clearly share information and ideas with others
- Influencing skills to engage others to support your ideas and plans.
- Excellent organisation skills, able to plan and prioritise
- Budget management skills
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good working relationships
- Self-Motivation: Work independently and stay driven to complete tasks.
- Basic Digital Literacy: Use programs like Excel for tracking data and budgets, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and use that knowledge to improve their experience
