About the role

Our Insights department strives to guide Tesco in making informed decisions by bringing to bear our deep understanding of Customers and Colleagues. Our key priorities are setting the customer agenda, commercialising insight, business partnering internally and externally, storytelling and democratising insight. Lead all aspects of managing our team's extensive knowledge platform, Insight Out, for Tesco Group and support AI integration.

You will be responsible for

Guiding the strategy for improving the Insight team's method of knowledge management and sharing in alignment with the broader team's objectives. Developing and maintaining guidelines for curating, publishing and housekeeping of Insight reports and knowledge in collaboration with the wider Insight team to keep content relevant and up to date.

Acting as day to day champion, mentor and product support for the Insight team, business stakeholders and agency partner users. Promoting our knowledge management platform and amplifying the relevant audience reach for Tesco by supporting the published insights of our team. Understanding stakeholder success and difficulties by combining usage data and regular feedback. Working closely with external platform providers to maintain a reliable user experience and prioritise developments. Encouraging a community of practice for Insight knowledge management across the Tesco Group - Bank, Mobile, Ireland, Central Europe & Technology. Defining and maintaining user security access groups, permissions and guidelines to keep confidential information secure. Working with Technology teams to ensure our processes and platform comply with agreed standards. Monitoring external market trends in knowledge management trends including generative AI capabilities.

You will need

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Storytelling, content curation skills particularly in digital environments
  • Good communicator with ability to lead training/workshops
  • Solid grasp of different insight approaches and tools.
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Great teammate who can collaborate effectively with other team members and coordinate multiple collaborators
  • Strong decision making and prioritisation skills, guided by data
  • 2+ years of experience either in an insight function directly or using insights in a relevant commercial industry.
  • Background in Knowledge or Information Management and Knowledge Management Platforms
  • Working in a fast paced environment and handling multiple stakeholders
