About the role

If Tesco were a Property company it would be the largest in the UK with over 2600 stores! 

In this role you will develop and manage the Group operating model transformation projects to deliver change and benefits to Tesco, including system and process design and implementation. 

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the Data, Process, Tech and Group Business teams to develop and manage a project plan with clearly understood dependencies, for both design and implementation 
  • Leading progress and alignment via project meetings 
  • Engaging key collaborators within and outside of governance forums 
  • Delivering the project outcomes, as indicated in the programme case, whilst managing trade-offs across the whole programme or interlinked projects 
  • Leading all aspects of production and monitoring of the project plan, communicating progress against key achievements to the governance forum 
  • Managing project dependencies, risks and advancing issues to get clear direction and decision from stakeholders 
  • Forecasting and managing my resource and budgets effectively, always being cost conscious

You will need

  • Operating model project development and delivery experience
  • Technology projects and technical business analysis experience
  • Experience of budgeting and planning processes 
  • Leading and influencing programme team experience
  • Property industry background knowledge
  • Project management methodology / qualification
