About the role

The Personalisation team is dedicated to building and orchestrating personalisation capability with 4 areas of focus: 

 

  • Strategy and roadmap – owning the overall personalisation strategy for the business alongside the 3 year delivery roadmap; 
  • Delivery – leading the delivery of new personalisation capability through cross-functional squads, building and incubating capability, productionising and scaling for handover to BAU; 
  • Customer journeys – designing and orchestrating E2E customer journeys working across the Customer function with proposition and channel teams and aligned to the pillars of the Customer Plan ensuring we still support our loyalty and online journeys; 
  • Segments and Audiences – owning our segmentation, identifying growth opportunities and building target audiences to test, learn and scale. 

 

 

In this varied and fast-paced role you will use your expertise in Data Analytics to build target audiences to test, learn and scale. Robust and agile analytics, and clear, impactful storytelling, with a focus on action, are some of the ways you will help us create a new culture of customer centricity.

  • Analysing data sets of multiple types to identify target audiences to test, learn and scale. 
  • Ensure audiences are tailored to meet business objectives
  • Acting as a flexible resource to support audience targeting & activation needs for wider org as needed
  • Supporting functional teams, natural working teams & incubator squads to add the right filters to segments and outline optimal audiences 
  • Continuously improving our audience targeting approach through building strong collaborative relationships with the Insights team, EA and dunnhumby.
  • Ensure consistency in audience-targeting across all channels / customer touch points

You will need

 

You will need

  • Strong analytical background using both simple and complex statistical models
  • Skilled in extracting, analysing and interpreting data. SQL is required, experience using statistical / data analytics and dashboard creation software is useful e.g. R, Python, Tableau
  • Specific experience of audience targeting: creation, testing and scaling across a range of tactics working with both first party and third party data.
  • Good communication and data visualisation skills are essential
  • Strong collaboration skills.
