- Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary

About the role
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Principal Product Manager to lead and drive innovation across our enterprise product ecosystem, which spans suppliers, sellers, and product data. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, deep expertise in platform thinking, and a focus on solving complex problems through scalable, reusable solutions.
As a senior leader, you will define and execute a multi-year strategy that prioritises opportunities for growth, innovation, and efficiency. You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and other Heads of Product to deliver impactful solutions that meet customer needs, drive business value, and position the company for long-term success.
You will be responsible for
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Define and drive a long-term product strategy (2-3 years and beyond) that aligns with business priorities and positions the company for sustained growth.
- Advocate for platform-based solutions that deliver reusable capabilities, reduce duplication, and enable scalable innovation.
- Research industry best practices across product data, supplier, and seller management to stay ahead of market trends and identify transformative opportunities.
2. Drive Innovation:
- Experiment with new ideas, emerging technologies, and creative approaches to improve the platform and address evolving customer needs.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation within the product team and across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to prototype, test, and validate new solutions.
3. Prioritize Opportunities:
- Use data and discovery methods to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Leverage market research, customer feedback, and platform insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Maintain a clear focus on solving problems at scale through capabilities that benefit multiple stakeholders.
4. Oversee Development & Storytelling:
- Ensure products are delivered to market with a focus on quality, scalability, and user satisfaction.
- Drive compelling storytelling to communicate the value of products and solutions to customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful product adoption.
5. Measurement & Monitoring:
- Collaborate with analytics teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for measuring product success and platform performance.
- Monitor platform performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track progress against business goals and communicate impact across the organization.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with business leaders to ensure alignment of product strategy with organizational goals.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other Heads of Product to ensure consistency, cohesion, and synergy across the product ecosystem.
7. Leadership & Behavioural Excellence:
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership behaviours, fostering a culture of transparency, empathy, and collaboration.
- Mentor and empower product managers and other direct reports, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
- Promote a culture of shared accountability and teamwork across product, engineering, and business teams.
You will need
Experience:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in enterprise environments.
- Proven track record of driving innovation, delivering platform-based solutions, and scaling product ecosystems.
- Experience in managing supplier, seller, or product data platforms at scale, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps.
- Expertise in platform thinking, modular design principles, and creating reusable capabilities.
- Strong prioritization skills, with experience in using data, discovery, and customer insights to guide decisions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to measure and monitor platform performance, translating insights into impactful actions.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
