About the role
We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft Developer to join our team at One Stop Stores Head Office in Brownhills. In this role you will play a key part in Providing support and training for the Support team for in-house developed system.
If you have experience in API development, have strong programming skills and have experience using middleware technologies, and are looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment we'd love to hear from you!
You will be responsible for
- Work with the Business and the Solutions Team to scope out work requests and development requirements.
- Analyse business requirements, provide accurate estimates and present solutions clearly.
- Evaluate, assess and recommend solutions that fit with Middleware best practice.
- Develop all required documentation, prototypes and software, working with your Peers in the Development and Solutions team.
- Lead integration development activities, working with the Solutions Team to turn the vision into reality.
- Manage development implementation, ensuring work assigned to you is completed on schedule adhering to department quality standards and processes.
- Collaborate with the Support and Test teams to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose, tested comprehensively and supportable.
- Provide support and training for the Support team for in-house developed system.
- Document systems and changes made clearly and thoroughly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in middleware development and apply them to projects as appropriate
- Mentor colleagues as they learn Mulesoft
You will need
- Certified Mulesoft Developer with experience of AnyPoint Studio, Dreamweaver, and RAML
- Experience of building APIs to Open API standards (version 3.1.0)
- Strong programming skills, including experience with languages such as Python
- Experience of Middleware technologies such as ActiveMQ and pub sub queues.
- Understanding of technical concepts such as caching, connection pooling, threading, transaction management, etc
Technical Skills:
- Understand ETL Best practice
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and GIT repositories
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
