We are delighted to share a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a Grocery Brand Manager in the Own Brand team at Tesco.
The role will see the successful candidate take responsibility for Own Brand development within the Grocery category, identifying and prioritising opportunities for growth across our Food brands
You will build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to lead the delivery of our brand strategic plans and pipelines across the 6Ps (Product, Packaging, Price, Place, People, Promotion)
This role would suit someone who has a strong commercial understanding, can turn data & customer insight into motivating propositions and work well with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver results
You will be responsible for
- Developing and delivering the Own Brand Strategy across all Own Brand tiers (Tesco Finest, Tesco Core & Exclusively At Tesco brands) within the Grocery category, including Cooking Ingredients, Global Cuisines, Breakfast Cereals, Hot Beverages, Home Baking, Classic Grocery & World Foods
- Identifying and prioritising opportunities for Own Brand development, building an Innovation Pipeline for the category, and aligning cross-functional and senior teams to deliver
- Turning insight into action; developing and launching new compelling product concepts and propositions to unlock future growth
- Briefing insight, design, and communication teams to bring propositions to life, ensuring consistent implementation of brand guidelines across all customer touchpoints
- Developing strong relationships within cross-functional teams and with key senior stakeholders
- Constantly monitoring the market and customer metrics in my area to proactively identify issues and opportunities for the brand
- Sharing best practice, and ensuring all plans & pipelines are relevant and transferable to international markets across the Tesco Group
