About the role
About the Business Agility Team
The Business Agility team’s mission is to enable Technology & Online to win together by building adaptable capabilities, demonstrating agility behaviours, implementing effective ways of working, and driving continuous excellence. Consisting of 3 capabilities, Agility Coaching, Product Ops and UX Design & Research Ops, we sit within the Product function in Technology.
The Role – Lead Business Agility Coach
As a key member of the Business Agility team, the Lead Agility Coach leads a team of Senior Agility Coaches and Agility Coaches to design and implement strategic initiatives focused on creating adaptable capabilities and agility behaviours, implementing effective ways of working and driving continuous excellence. These initiatives target complex problem areas impacting various verticals or department, requiring the ability to think strategically, quickly assess the context, gather relevant data, and implement meaningful change while guiding stakeholders through the journey. Leveraging a wide range of Agile, Lean, and other relevant practices, the Lead Agility Coach collaborates with the Head of Business Agility and fellow Lead Agility Coaches and Lead Operations to co-create and deploy the blueprint for Tesco's Agile ways of working.
Additionally, the Lead Agility Coach has line management responsibilities, including recruitment, mentoring, and supporting the career progression of team members.
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. That’s why at Tesco, we always welcome a conversation about flexible working. So, please talk to the Hiring Manager about how they can support you.
