A fantastic and unique opportunity has arisen for a Trade Planning Assistant to join our team on a Part-Time contract for a fixed term period of 12 months. 

We're looking for an experienced individual who will use insight and analytical data to ensure we deliver a great proposition for our customers and Tesco across all channels.

You will be responsible for

  • Understanding the drivers of performance through sound analytics and use this to build recommendations
  • Applying insight and customer understanding to the Events programme to support space optimization, sales and customer perception
  • Communicating and owning delivery of the critical path, prioritizing promotions and ranges based on customer needs and calendar themes. Escalate risks or issues to your manager in a timely fashion
  • Developing the relationship with Retail, Product, Customer and SRD
  • Being an expert on competitors Promotions and Events across all channels
  • Owning the review highlighting trends and make recommendations on improvement by channel (stores & Online)
  • Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand over protocols and successfully completing all required training
