About the role

This 10-week paid summer programme will give you a unique opportunity to gain real-life finance experience in the UK’s largest retailer, a business that generates over £60bn of sales across the Group.  Operating over 4,500 stores globally and with +2,000 UK based colleagues, there are plenty of opportunities to explore a wide range of finance disciplines whilst gaining an understanding of our business (supported by in-store experience).

You will be responsible for

It’s an exciting opportunity and more than just numbers. You’ll work collaboratively across our Finance teams and wider business to deliver a project, building valuable skills to support your future career.

Our Finance internship will give you an insight into the breadth of opportunities at Tesco and is a great way for you to understand how the world of finance works. You can also learn about the CIMA qualification, which you’ll work towards if you come back as a Finance graduate.

After completion of an internship, there’s a performance review to discuss what you achieved and how you achieved it. A successful internship with us can guarantee your place on our three-year Finance graduate programme when you graduate – before you’ve even started your final year of study.
