Our key priorities are setting the customer agenda, commercialising insight, business partnering internally and externally, storytelling and modernising insight.

The Colleague Insight team works alongside the People team and the business to create actionable insight which drives improvements in the colleague experience at Tesco. This insight is developed both through our census colleague listening programme and through ad-hoc colleague research in line with the People strategy. This role is suited to an individual who is skilled at handling data and partnering with different teams. Relationship building, the ability to think creatively and to use data to influence business decisions will also be key in this role.

You will be responsible for

  • Work with the Colleague Insight Partner in the development and delivery of the annual and mid year census colleague listening programme - representing 350,000 colleagues across the Tesco Group.
  • Collate and analyse multiple datasets to ensure accurate colleague listening reporting, acting as data expert for our external agency partners through all stages of the colleague listening process.
  • Partner with Insight teams across Tesco Group markets and subsidiaries as well as Business Support, Tech and the People team to provide the right data inputs and ensure actionable insight outputs of our colleague listening programmes.
  • Collaborate with the People function, Tech and Group markets and subsidiaries to build an organisational hierarchy that is used for colleague listening surveys and reporting.
  • Work alongside our agency partners to deploy this hierarchy and be their point of contact on this through the launch and post-launch phases of colleague listening surveys.
  • Resolve queries from colleagues through survey live periods.
  • Responsible for the cleaning of data after survey live periods to ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • Work closely with Colleague Insight Partner to devise the best approaches and methods for colleague research studies, including both ad-hoc and regular colleague listening.
  • Continuously look to improve and simplify existing processes within Colleague Insight which furthers the accuracy of our results.
  • Work alongside data analysts and researchers to combine the power of research and colleague data.

You will need

  • Experience of managing multiple data sets and working with large amounts of Excel data.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project and partner management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage senior colleagues.
  • Experience of using Qualtrics is preferable.
