About the role

Target and build direct marketing communications, maximising the use of personalisation and automation, and owning the business rules regarding the communication contact with customers

You will be responsible for

  • Responsible for the data, targeting and personalisation for all UK direct marketing campaigns including email, push notifications, in-app notifications and SMS.
  • Implementing at scale, automated and triggered email communications, ensuring greater relevance to customers.
  • Owning the customer contact business rules for direct marketing.
  • Collaborate with various data and insight teams, to develop and create relevant customer segments which are actionable at scale
  • Work in partnership with Technology teams to ensure Marketing Platform is fit for purpose, using any new capability to step change the volume of personalisation and automation.
  • Lead a team of dedicated Targeting Managers, developing them to be the central point for all targeting and personalisation advice and recommendations, with team members acting with autonomy, representing the team as experts in customer targeting and customer journey build/design

  • Demonstrated ability in customer communications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Wider knowledge of marketing
  • Experienced in use of ESP/ Integrated Marketing Platforms
  • Strong background in data management
