About the role
As the Service Maintenance Technician specialising in security, you will deliver a great quality service to our customers and colleagues using the operating model in order to minimise equipment breakdown and impact on safety, security, and legal compliance.
Should you be successful in your application, your offer will be subject to and conditional upon you providing your bank account details before your agreed start date.
You will be responsible for
- Responding to and completing reactive maintenance on CCTV systems (both analogue and IP networks) in retail premises across a designated region.
- Completing reactive maintenance on checkout belt and cash conveyance systems in retail premises across a designated region (training will be provided, where required).
- Verisae usage and parts replenishment
- Communicating with my team and the wider business team
- Working collaborative with the TBS Planning and Parts Teams
- Ensure PDA compliance
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Supporting change within the business to ensure continuously improved performance.
- Support my manager to resolve customer issues

You will need
- UK driving Licence
- Proven Security-related technical skills - City & Guilds, apprenticeship
- CCTV (analogue & IP) experience (essential)
- CCTV qualification/certification (desirable)
- Ability to install, configure and maintain CCTV equipment to the relevant industry standards
- Experience working with the following systems: Hikvision, Pelco, Hanwha Techwin
- Experience of working in a retail environment (desirable)
- Administrative skills to include IT & Microsoft Office suite
- Customer/stakeholder escalation management
- Resource scheduling
- IOSH qualification (desirable)
- IPAF (desirable)
- Asbestos Awareness
