About the role

I am accountable to build and run a small team of Product Managers for cyber data team and be responsible for creating and articulating a clear strategic direction that ladders up to the larger cyber data objectives. I am expected to represent my product to senior leadership, know my area of the business inside and out and have a clear understanding of all my key metrics and product performance.  As I progress in this role it becomes less about the "doing" itself, but the ability to empower and grow my team to deliver value - though initially I may retain some accountability for writing user stories and creating backlogs.

You will be responsible for

Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product strategy for cyber data analytics and AI initiatives, aligning with the overall cyber data strategy objectives and priorities.

Product Roadmap: Manage the product roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and key initiatives for cyber data analytics and AI products.

Product Development & Releases: Leading the cyber data product development process from concept to launch, defining product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while also managing the release process for new features and improvements, coordinating with various security engineering and testing teams

Stakeholder Engagement: Engaging with senior leadership, internal cyber data teams and wider security teams, security partners to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure alignment with their needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams, including engineering and infrastructure teams to drive product development and delivery.

Product Team Management: Build and nurture a great team of Product Managers, tailored to the business needs, strategic priorities, and required focus level.

You will need

Demonstrable experience in product management, including developing product strategies, creating roadmaps and leading product development cycles to achieve objectives and key results (OKRs).

Ability to engage and manage at various levels, including directors, heads and multi-functional teams to gather requirements, validate ideas, and drive alignment.

Proficiency in understanding the interaction between large technology systems and monitoring health metrics such as uptime, SLOs, response time

Ability to analyse data to inform product decisions, track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

Good understanding of data and analytics technologies, methodologies and standard processes

Hiring, developing, and retaining cyber data product talent

Ability to deliver clear input, guide, empower the team to achieve desired outcomes

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
