About the role

We are delighted to share that an opportunity has arisen for a PR Manager to join the exciting and thriving world of F&F Clothing here at Tesco on a Parental cover contract.

This role will see the successful candidate work to build the multi-layered F&F PR & Influencer strategy, leading in-house PR team in implementation to drive compelling and cohesive brand messaging.

Strong experience in PR is essential (agency or in-house, preferably within the retail/fashion sector) delivering successful, integrated campaigns.

You will be responsible for

  • Oversee and support global countries PR/Influencer plans to align with overall business KPI’s & strategy.
  • Working alongside key senior stakeholders to advance F&F’s brand identity in the market and launch key licence product partnerships.
  • Manage PR / Influencer events and activations to agreed budget and timings, at the same time continually looking for ways to improve and innovate, offering journalists and customers something different and exciting each time.
  • Generate coverage across media publications, online and offline, which is in line with the PR strategy and works alongside the marketing strategy.
  • Manage the PR & Social budget (in accordance with the forecast) .
  • Act as the main point of contact for all PR-related queries for F&F across the business and externally.
  • Continue to build and strengthen relationships with key journalists, influencers and talent and agents to strengthen brand reputation and elevate our brand positioning.
  • Manage key product launches and all seasonal events.
  • PR/Social crisis management.
  • Define and execute a clear and forward-thinking influencer strategy and management of influencer team and agency.
  • Manage the influencer ambassadorship programme and build strong relationships with talent and agencies to maximise deliverables and output.
  • Stand over all consumer press material for the brand.
  • Deliver monthly PR & Social reports to key business stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with commercial teams to understand product stories.
  • Management of talent /celebrity partnerships and create first class PR plans to be in line with business commercial objectives.
  • Management of brand ambassador shoots and content delivery.
  • Manage all PR/editorial sponsorships and work alongside procurement to ensure supplier processes are followed for contracts and payments.
  • Management and development of in-house PR & Influencer team.

You will need

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: you’ll need to be able to explain complex concepts to people of all levels.
  • Experience of external stakeholder management.
  • Strong industry network.
  • Budget and agency management experience. We work with large budgets and a number of agencies, so experience of managing, evaluating and optimising both is essential
  • Experience of tracking tools and the ability to define and track KPIs
  • To be comfortable working in a vast business and a large team, as well the other marketing communications channels and campaign teams to deliver a compelling and integrated plan
  • Management of a team.
