About the role

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a 3D Assistant Creative Technologist to join the F&F team. You will support to deliver safe, legal, responsibly sourced, quality products for your area always focusing on our customers and demonstrating value-led behaviour.

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting your line manager to ensure products in your area & category meet the product brief, Tesco rules & policies
  • Developing Knowledge in your field, achieving KPI's & supporting development of policy/protocol in the category
  • Working to reduce cost & risk throughout the supply chain & product range, ensuring appropriate controls are in place for consistency, legality & quality of products & packaging, and signing off products at appropriate milestones
  • Monitoring & Reviewing all quality & customer feedback and implementing actions to resolve issues raised
  • Inputting & driving product, process and improvement ideas into the New Product Development.
  • Contributing & being aware of the strategy with Category teams, identifying & developing the best suppliers/sources
  • Aware of the technical critical path for new products/product changes, working with suppliers/Tesco Sourcing & flagging risks
  • Coordinating your work on a day to day basis, escalating concerns and specific issues to your line manager.
  • Contributing to block development for the business - ensuring the blocks are up to date and accessible to all
  • Understanding the grade rules for the business and ensuring they are used on MPD and Blocks.
  • Using Tesco 3D avatars and ensuring our suppliers have and are using the most up to date version.
  • Using 3D technology, MPD and our TC training tools to empower our suppliers to develop/approve on our behalf.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will need

Operational Skills:

  • Excel knowledge
  • Word & PowerPoint knowledge
  • 3D CAD Softwear experience
  • Basic awareness of PLM Softwear
  • Lectra and Modaris trained

Experience:

  • Relevant experience 1 - 2 years
  • Relevant qualification(s) in a related area
  • Understanding of pattern construction
  • Understanding of fabric performance.
  • Understanding of retail and customer needs
