About the role

­­Working in the communication and engagement function for Tesco Property, responsible for the preparation of regular communications, engagement and events.

You will be responsible for

Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific responsibilities:
 

  • Crafts exciting, energetic, simple communications
  • Works with business stakeholders to ensure communications are planned and delivered at the right time and in the right way
  • Acts as a custodian and trusted expert for business owners on brand expression and tone of voice
  • Curates and manages content for regular communications through a variety of channels
  • A passionate advocate for colleagues and audiences
  • An ability to think creatively around challenges to deliver excellent results

You will need

  • Proven writing skills
  • An ability to navigate a complex communications environment across a matrixed business
  • Can simplify complex operational messages to make them easy to understand
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Able to prioritise multiple projects and tasks
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience of delivering internal communications or a related field
  • A detailed understanding of how communications affect and engage audiences
  • A ‘live 20/80’ approach – targeting things that will make the biggest difference
  • Previous communication and engagement projects and campaigns experience
  • Experience of delivering events (desirable)
  • Experience of shooting and editing visual media (desirable)
