About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Risk team! You will deliver risk management activities to inform & support senior management with broad exposure to all levels of our global business.
You will be responsible for
- Performing a Risk Business Partnering role for a portfolio of stakeholders and risk registers, including reviewing and challenging the content of these business risk registers to help ensure accurate qualification and quantification of sub-risks and controls.
- Facilitating risk discussions between Group Risk and Business Units/Functions in order to support the business make risk informed decisions (with a focus on emerging trends and risks) and building relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Advise our global business network through coordinating the Tesco Group Risk Community of Practice by promoting the sharing of best practice, providing training, raising awareness and providing business support.
- Input to regular reporting requirements including the preparation of Senior Leadership Team risk papers (i.e. Executive, Audit Committee and Board) and annual report requirements to meet FRC/FCA and UK Corporate Governance Code requirements.
- Developing Risk Management training materials to upskill the business and our Group Audit team.
- Embedding new technology approaches including the use of Automation, Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics to providing greater data insights.
You will need
- Appropriate risk/ finance/ IT qualification (eg CIRM, ICAEW, CISA)
- ERM knowledge
- Proven experience in developing and delivering risk management activities to ISO 31000/ COSO standards
- Proven experience in navigating complex technology issues (e.g. Cyber security, Agile, Cloud computing)
- Project & Change management experience
Nice to have:
- Experience of working with specialist software such as Origami Risk, GRC, SAP
