About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team and act as the expert and interface in the product finance team on net inflation to support the business. You will help guide pricing decisions made by the business through the use of financial and commercial expertise and understanding. You will wok in an agile way in order to help with any ad hoc requests from both the finance and commercial leadership teams.

You will be responsible for

  • Responsible for the net inflation forecast, budget and weekly reporting, working closely with the trade planning and category finance teams
  • Create continuous improvement in the process, forever evolving the thinking and assumptions
  • Work alongside the Trade Planning and Strategy Director through the course of the year to deliver clarity on their strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Finance teams in functions e.g. Packaged and Fresh to ensure alignment
  • Work with the Trade Analysis team to ensure that the medium to long term forecast for Sales aligns with the inflation assumptions
  • Support on any ad hoc requests that come through via the commercial leadership team or finance leadership team

You will need

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Finance experience in driving strategic priorities in large complex organisations
  • Experience of engaging and working with senior colleagues
  • Highly evolved financial analysis skills
