About the role

Working within the Supplier Engagement team, your role will be central to building trusted partnerships with suppliers by providing learning and support resources for our supplier partners and engaging with them through communications and events. These are delivered and managed both digitally and face-to-face using various software solutions. You'll be part of a team that is integral in identifying the opportunities to support supplier partners. The work varies greatly, from supporting the launches of new tools and processes to creating and delivering new learning and sharing key business updates to help drive the Tesco strategy with its suppliers. The team includes people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds, but all share an appetite for driving change and supplier learning that is critical to support the business and serve Tesco's customers, communities and planet a little better, every day. You will report to the Supplier Capability Manager or the Supplier Communication and Events Manager.

You will be responsible for

  • Managing and organising the training calendar - Organising, presenting and facilitating training sessions either virtually or in person
  • Managing and tracking the repository of training resources
  • Managing the Supplier Training email account
  • Managing webinar admin end to end from creation to publishing to event reporting - Maintaining the supplier training website
  • Quality assurance of documents for accuracy, branding and readability
  • Updating resources and presentations, at times working with business stakeholders as the knowledge experts
  • Maintaining and sharing training analytics and identifying opportunities
  • Identifying ways to improve processes and ways of working
  • Managing and organising the communications and events calendar
  • Writing communications which meet branding guidelines
  • Reviewing communications and messages written by subject experts, liaising with expert teams eg legal where relevant
  • Using the communications tool(s) to send supplier communications
  • Writing and publishing news articles
  • Produce and source content for newsletters
  • Develop productive relationships with colleagues throughout the business
  • Support supplier events both in person and digitally
  • Event organisation

You will need

Operational Skills:

  • Experience facilitating and presenting digitally and in person
  • Experience identifying requirements and developing learning resources
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience organising events
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Stakeholder relationship management

Experience:

  • Experience with presentations from development stage to delivery
  • Experience within a learning role - of identifying requirements and the optimum resources to support customers
  • Experience within an events role or a communications role
