About the role

In this role you will deliver clear insight to underpin our Fresh Food Quality and Dinner For Tonight/Mealtimes Propositions to make Tesco the best place to shop for our customers

You will be comfortable managing both research and data requests, and know how to summarise and visualise data simply for senior colleagues, focusing on what will make the biggest impact

You will be responsible for

  • Connect multiple data sets of varying types (research, behavioural, panel, economic, market context) to support the creation of insight about our customers, competitors & markets that we can act on
  • Use data & insight to tell compelling stories, sharing this across the business to deliver recommendations
  • Ensure projects are presented in a simple way, to land the key messages with impact
  • Report on Quality and Mealtimes strategic pillars on quarterly basis to ensure business understands their performance and how to improve
  • Support senior colleagues to make insight-led decisions in all aspects of the project/proposition lifecycle – from ideation and concept testing through to evaluating the launch/execution
  • Ensure projects deliver against requirements, on time and on budget
  • Work with agency partners to deliver compelling insight to support the business in prioritising long-term strategies

You will need

  • Number of years experience in an insight function or as a recipient of Insight content e.g. Planner, Strategist, Brand Manager
  • Agency or client-side experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where priorities can change regularly
  • Ability to organise your time efficiently and effectively to deliver projects on time
