About the role

To implement and maintain our document control process and support the wider Product Quality team to ensure that all Quality documentation follows the agreed format, review process and are suitable for a global audience.

You will be responsible for

  • Governance & organization of the Tesco Quality Management System (QMS) documentation on 'myLibrary' platform.
  • Lead the ongoing functional developments of the 'MyLibrary' platform, collaborating with Transformation teams.
  • Using both external thinking and internal resource to continually evolve the QMS.
  • Manage communication of updates made to documentation within the QMS, company wide and external.
  • Facilitate reviews of all Quality documentation to ensure consistency of approach & process, resulting in the recognisable global suite of controlled Tesco policies, standards, requirements & guidance material.
  • Promote and coach Tesco colleagues in the process and ways of working associated with document control.
  • Build and manage relationships with wide range of business stakeholders within the QMS Forums.
  • Host/project manage the QMS Forums, and act as the independent person in the room that supports the decision making process.
  • Report to the business on the activities of the QMS including the status of document approval, amend, archive and communications.
  • Manage the translation and document control of key documentation into the essential business languages, including governance, performance & payment of the third party translation company, verification of translated documents with internal language verifiers.

You will need

Operational Skills:

  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Basic Project Management skills
  • A good working knowledge of IT packages (Microsoft Office including Microsoft Projects, Planner, MS Teams and Sharepoint)
  • Presentation and Listening skills
  • Self starter with an ability to network and build relationships across cultures / countries

Experience:

  • Preferred degree level qualified in suitable subject
  • Managing relationships with colleagues, senior managers, external experts, and stakeholders
  • Experience of operating within & managing a detailed documented, quality management system, but with a holistic view of the programme governance Commercial awareness
