About the role

As an Advanced Engineering professional who masters one technology domain. Broad knowledge about further technology domains and complementary skills (commercial, JDI, etc) complete the profile.

  • Understand modern business requirements and strategic value of communication services in a large enterprise estate
  • Design and deliver modern voice and video communication enabling colleagues to communicate and stay connected from anywhere
  • Explain complex technical concepts to other infrastructure teams and articulate how these tie into a wider, high level strategy.

You will be responsible for

  • Design solutions that introduce new technologies into Tesco and impact a single or more Infrastructure product.
  • Set the standards and guidance for new Technologies
  • Influence product roadmaps for their technology area
  • Contribute to commercial arrangements for Infrastructure deals
  • Design, integrate, and manage complex infrastructure solutions
  • Design solutions to improve the security baseline of the Infrastructure offerings
  • Work with infrastructure Architects, Product Managers, and third-party consultants to ensure alignment of the solution and product strategy.

You will need

  • Voice solutions (Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice, Cisco Call Manager – IP telephony, Mobile Telephony, AudioCodes Session Border Controllers)
  • Collaboration solutions (Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Telepresence - Pexip, Microsoft Teams / Microsoft Teams Rooms etc)
  • Video broadcast tools (vBrick, Microsoft Teams Live Events or similar)
  • Experience and expertise in managing Voice, videoconference, broadcast event solutions is a plus
