You will be responsible for

Responsibilities

·I deliver Infrastructure change as part of projects or other tasks as required

·I provide support for our Infrastructure

·I support the implementation of new technologies for use across One Stop.

·I work closely with the Infrastructure Solution Architect to accurately estimate, produce technical designs and deliver solutions in line with their overarching solutions and strategy

·I ensure all work I do is fully documented on Confluence

·I always work in a way that ensures technical delivery happens without impact to the business

·I support the Cyber Security Manager in delivery of requirements, solutions and changes in that area

·I support the administration of firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi and threat management gateways etc.

·I liaise with third party suppliers, engaging where required to deliver support, and maintenance of One Stop’s systems.

·I act as an escalation point from any complex issues from the Support team as required. I provide support and assistance for these critical issues which may involve working outside of core business hours

·I deal with helpdesk calls escalated from the system support team, relating to my area of expertise.

·I work with the Technology Team to help deliver projects and improve ways of working.

·I research new technologies to see if they are fit for purpose and useful for One Stop.

·I participate in the Infrastructure Out of Hours rota

You will need

•Excellent communication skills

•Excellent knowledge in areas of Infrastructure relevant to One Stop – managing and administering

-Microsoft Windows OS, Azure, Active Directory & Office 365

-Virtualisation (HyperV & Vmware).

-Networks including Cisco technologies

-Other Microsoft Technologies e.g. ADFS, SQL

•Develop a strong understanding of the business

•Sound knowledge and experience in network management and administration, including Cisco firewalls.

•Ability to research, administer and implement technologies through change control process with minimum supervision

•The ability to remain optimistic and drive forward positively when dealing with uncertainty

•At least 3 years' experience in a similar role

Qualifications in relevant IT disciplines and/or vendor technologies
