About the role

As a Data Analyst, you will work within Business Support to deliver streams of work designed to support and improve our stores and operating model ensuring we always serve customers, communities and the planet a little better everyday. You will drive change and be an ambassador for building trust based relationships and working collaboratively to come up with simple, effective solutions for customers and colleagues.

You will be responsible for

  • Delivering insightful and actionable visualisations for retail through reporting, analysis, and optimisation, providing solutions in Tableau and Microsoft products.
  • Creating impactful visualisations of data and collaborating with retail and Business Support functions to ensure visualisations are fit for purpose and insightful.
  • Collaborating with the Retail Reporting Development team to ensure data is productionised.
  • Gathering feedback from users and identifying changes required. Building and maintaining a database for key driver and outcome data within transformation area.
  • Monitoring and completing analytics on this to support understanding in business performance and any impacts from trials or business changes. Creating training material and videos for visualisations.
  • Contributing to make my team a great place to work (e.g. supporting activities like team days or team meetings).
  • Coaching and supporting the wider team using my experience.

You will need

  • Experience of creating data visualisation Dashboards using tools to build prototype visualisations in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working with Tableau, knowledge of Access VBA; SQL Server
  • Knowledge of databases and how data is structured
  • Data-driven mind-set with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Skills in deriving insight from data and identifying new visualisations to show this
