About the role

You seek out and research trends providing support to projects whilst feeding information which helps to evolve and set the product plan.

You will be responsible for

  • Leads the research for specific projects within the Product Plan to support the teams with the right information to fuel their thinking on projects
  • Supports the creation of the annual product trends book as well as supporting its launch and embedding into Tesco
  • Create beautiful and engaging trend summary reports that are inspiring, full of ideas and highlight the "so what" of the trend and its relevance into the business
  • Leading the creation and management of the Product Direction little black book which documents all our centres of excellence and is printed annually
  • Proactively highlights new trends, restaurants, books or competitor ranges which have relevance for the business
  • Oversees a filing system which ensures we can save down information and easily access
  • Build strong relationships across the business, (inc home/insights/brand) that help to feed and support projects
  • Creating travel plans for directional travel both UK and abroad which utilises time and delivers maximum knowledge back into projects
  • For assigned projects, understands the critical path to deliver information for milestone process at the right time
  • Being an advocate for Tesco and sharing your expertise and passion for product through actively participating in events, following our business code of conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
