About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our team! You will work on improving trade working capital ways of working and FP&A processes. You will also identify and drive opportunities to improve total TWC

You will be responsible for

  • Developing product reporting across all of trade working capital (stock, payables, receivables). Reporting should support divisional working capital governance
  • Improving and embedding the forecast process for working capital, defining clear assumptions / establishing processes that enable accurate forecasting
  • Supporting ongoing cash improvement program alongside senior Tesco colleagues and external partners
  • Finance deliverables within the Finance Reporting and Insights programme of Finance Change
  • Establishing the correct governance around trade working capital reporting, ensuring the correct focus is given to cash within divisional and category leadership teams
  • Leading on Save To Invest governance within GFR, including acting as finance lead on several high profile, high value initiatives
  • Embedding insightful Working Capital analysis that drives insight alongside categories/supply chain
  • Embedding a cash conscious culture - all divisional FP&A teams to talk to the business about cash in the way that they currently talk about profit

You will need

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience developing FPA processes for Working Capital in a complex business
  • Experience introducing/developing processes & creating governance over processes
  • Engaging approach and ability to land change with broad teams, alongside ability to overcome challenges
  • Ability to establish insightful reporting/accurate forecasting
