About the role

We are so delighted to share this rare and exciting position to join the F&F team at Tesco.

The successful candidate will be working on campaigns that highlight key brand messages, writing engaging and informative press releases and creating exciting PR mailers and event management. Responsible for print, digital and social coverage for brand activations. A PR background and strong contacts within the fashion industry would be a real bonus.

This role could be a great fit for a PR executive looking for an exciting new challenge – or an account manager in a fashion or lifestyle PR agency looking for an in-house role.

You will be responsible for

  • Building relationships with key fashion press & stylists
  • Securing PR coverage across target media titles
  • Press release writing
  • Pitching key fashion F&F stories to editors
  • Developing PR strategies for seasonal launches and key brand activations
  • Work with media houses to create and deliver impactful PR sponsorships
  • Helping with the management of the PR budget, including raising POs
  • Develop and nurture relationships with celebrities & influencers through gifting programme
  • PR coverage monitoring and reporting
  • Planning and execution of all PR/ influencer events
  • Organise sample management for press office
  • Work collaboratively with PR & Social team to ensure all influencer content is maximised through PR channels.
  • Support global teams with PR events, samples and press office collateral requirements

You will need

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Influencing and stakeholder management
• Evidence of a strong network of media and influencer contacts
• Proactive attitude to generating press coverage
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• A solid understanding of the digital channels (even better, you’ll have experience working with them)
• Bachelor’s degree or demonstrable experience; an advanced degree or industry qualification would be a plus.

  • Adaptable. From time to time, you may be asked to work on campaign communications outside of the PR channel; so you’ll relish the opportunity to learn new things
