About the role

We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for a PR and VIP Talent Executive to join our F&F team here at Tesco. 

The marketing team is the heart of where F&F plan and create everything that our customers will see across our marketing communications worldwide. Within this, our PR team are fast paced, incredibly creative and work collaboratively with each other to help get the job done.

With the ever-changing trends in the market, the PR team are the front-line ambassadors that help to spread the word when it comes to our latest must-haves and quality messages.

Meticulous planning and outstanding relationship management are the two key elements that aid in the success of this department; with regular liaison amongst our commercial teams, internal leadership teams and of course, the fashion press.

You will be responsible for

Press

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with media
  • Proactively informing press of new collections, launches and collaborations with strategic pitching and gifting initiatives
  • Drafting press releases to support new collections, brand & talent campaigns and initiatives
  • Planning and executing seasonal press events
  • Becoming an expert using PR media monitoring tools, using your natural inquisitive nature to develop actionable insight for the business and embed the insights into the relevant campaign effectiveness reports
  • Work with media houses to create and deliver impactful PR sponsorships
  • Helping with the management of the PR budget, including raising POs

Talent & Communities

  • Helping to identify and build relationships with brand appropriate talent
  • Supporting in the planning and delivery of VIP, talent and influencer strategies.
  • PR lead for Talent Campaigns
  • Sample management of talent & VIP edits, collaborating with buying and design teams.
  • Evaluating talent marketing campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations against KPIs
  • Managing Talent content calendar and sharing with global markets to help with content planning
  • Supporting with management of Talent PR & content shoots
  • Overseeing talent’s deliverables and content. Liaising with buying teams and Next.com for product drops to align.

You will need

  •  Experience working in an editorial environment and/or in a fashion PR role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including copy writing
  • Strong ability to influence at all levels and stakeholder management
  • Established contacts in the fashion/lifestyle industry
  • Robust knowledge of social media platforms and an interest in keeping up to date with changing social media trends
  • Proven budget and project management skills
  • Sound working knowledge of IT packages - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Outlook
  • Experience of working with Influencer intelligence a bonus but not essential

  • A natural curiosity and love for the fashion industry, keeping up to date with the latest trends and opportunities.
  • A true team player is essential and a genuine desire to talk to and work alongside others to get the job done
