About the role

You'll be joining Agile Product & Operations – a team charged with driving excellence in Technology, by building communities, developing standard process and simplifying how we work. Where we currently have 4 Product Ops roles in total, this role is has an emphasis on planning, improving the value of key Product Ops processes across multiple Product functions.

You'll collaborate closely with the your Product Ops counterparts, driving efficiency and crafting the conditions for Product Management teams to do their best work. This role will be the first role of its kind – a fantastic opportunity to innovate and demonstrate the impact of Product Ops.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading our large-scale quarterly planning process, creating focus and alignment for over 90 tech teams. This includes crafting and presenting timelines, driving engagement, coordinating sessions with a broad range of business partners, tracking actions, analysing the data and creating the plans themselves.
  • Managing the cyclical assessments of Product teams' health, practice maturity and/or skills, preparing relevant materials and leading the analysis.
  • Continually seek out opportunities to optimise the efficiency and engagement of Product Ops processes, by leaning on agile principles: sourcing regular feedback and running iterative experiments.
  • Onboarding new joiners to ensure all colleagues have a detailed understanding of the Product Ops processes and can participate effectively.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Agile Product & Operations Team in maturing Ops practice and coordinating cross-functional events.
  • Developing a business partner map and owning positive relationships with a variety of business partners of varying levels of seniority.
  • Maintaining the departmental calendar, identifying relevant events to include and highlighting risks of clashes.
  • Become a trusted and reliable partner to multidisciplinary business partners.

You will need

  • 2+ years with significant Project Management responsibilities e.g. Operations, Project Management, Programme Management, Delivery Management, Change Management etc - Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment, navigating complexity to deliver valuable outcomes.
  • Effectively working with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha! and Miro.
  • Knowledge Agile and Product Management concepts / principles / practices.
