About the role

A great opportunity has arisen for parental leave cover within the Health, Beauty and Wellness team for a Product Developer. This will suit someone with non-food experience or a current Product Developer looking for a growth move to expand their skillset. 
The role will be to start from August and will be on a fixed term contract. 

The hiring manger is Mike Ilett.

You will be responsible for

• Following the product development process to ensure our new products have a clear customer & business rationale. 
• Working with my NWT & suppliers, ensuring quality for customers  & innovation are at the heart of what we do.
• Ensuring all our products and packaging are formulated in line with our product rules, corporate initiatives and brand guidelines.
• Following the critical path and artwork process using using myProduct: Develop,  effective stakeholder management and communication to ensure all products are launched on time. 
• Delivering the strategic plan  for my area for the next 6-12 months.
• Ensuring our products are always great quality by regularly reviewing and reformulating them where needed.
• Visiting our supplier partners to understand their production capabilities for future opportunities.
• Keeping updated with trends in product & packaging, competitor activity & market dynamics & sharing with my team.
• Being an advocate for Tesco & sharing my expertise and passion for product though actively participating in events.
• Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
