About the role
In this exciting and varied role, you will support our Property team in making the right investment decisions on where to to open our new sites and stores, by analysing catchment data to make informed recommendations for the team.
You will be responsible for
- You will have responsibility early on and through training and support from the team, you'll own a regional area in the UK and be responsible for deciding where to open stores and forecasting the sales they will take.
- Working closely with our Property Acquisitions and Feasibility team, you will ensure we open the right stores for customers in the heart of each catchment area.
- You will develop and maintain an achievable location strategy for every town in the UK, visiting areas across the country.
- You will analyse location data to make recommendations to Property and the Business, collaborating with all our amazing colleagues in Customer Insight, SRM and Channels.
- Once your store opens, you will review its performance to make sure all the learnings are fed back into our strategy.
- Understand the new competitors that are opening in your patch and feed this into the Customer team.
You will need
We are passionate about making sure you have the right training & development plan in order to develop, so will provide training on all aspects of the role however an interest in demographic and locational data is ideal!
- All experience will be considered (not just Geography, Economics or Math's degrees), all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and are interested in numbers, maps and being at the heart of decisions about sites and our store locations.
- Driving licence essential
- Basic to Intermediate Excel skills
- Good Communication and Powerpoint skills.
- Previous use of Alteryx is advantageous although not essential as training will be provided.
