About the role
This Finance Manager role acts as the primary expert and interface in the Channels Finance team for Head Office, including in year forecasts and budgets.
You will be responsible for completing periodic reporting (where not completed centrally) to ensure Channels Teams are clear on Head Office variance to forecast and Budget, along with driving insight as to the actions possible to mitigate variances to plan.
The vacancy is a 3 month fixed term contract on 3 days per week.
You will be responsible for
Co-ordinating and delivering the Budget process for Channels Head Office; working closely with the Central Head Office team and the Channels Business Partners
Ensuring periodic Forecasts are completed and submitted to the Central Head Office Team, work alongside the Finance Business Partners through the course of the year to deliver clarity on their forecast and how this rolls up to the overall UK Head Office forecast.
Developing Head Office reporting for Channels which drives insight and action to improve Head Office financials.
Ensuring that the forecast process and governance is robust and clear, along with stakeholders and finance teams have agreed and approved changes.
Acting as a point of co-ordination between the various Finance Business partnering teams in Channels Finance and CoE to ensure consistency and clarity in processes and numbers.
You will need
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (preferred)
- Finance experience in driving strategic priorities in large complex organisations
- Experience of engaging and working with senior business stakeholders
- Highly evolved financial analysis skills
