About the role

In Clubcard Proposition we are responsible for building the strategy and propositions to keep Clubcard healthy, compelling and future-fit. We create reasons for our Clubcard members to continue to engage with our scheme and choose more of Tesco more often.

The Clubcard Proposition Manager is a key part of the team, working closely with the rest of the loyalty team including Operations, CRM and the Reward Partner team as well as a wider network of stakeholders. Creating and delivering compelling propositions for Clubcard to improve customer satisfaction, usage and to deliver business benefits for Tesco.

You will be responsible for

  • Using your passion for loyalty, customers and insight to keep up to date with the latest loyalty and customer trends and competitor activity.
  • Defining and developing current and future Clubcard propositions, including key transformation projects.
  • Balancing customer and business needs and managing operational and technology dependencies.
  • Using your flair for storytelling and your influencing skills to energise the business around your visions for each proposition.
  • Building trusted relationships across the business and external partners, bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver propositions across the 6Ps.
  • Work closely with agency partners to uphold the Clubcard brand in all communications and proposition development.
  • Building strong working relationships inside and outside the loyalty team, with peers and leadership.

Experience relevant to this job:

  • Loyalty/CRM experience, history of understanding customer relationships with retailers and brands.
  • Experience of building and delivering propositions.
  • Using insight to create engaging concepts.
  • Commercially minded with an ability to put a business lens on customer propositions and understand financial levers.
  • Cross group collaboration with a history of wide stakeholder management across Tesco.
  • Experience of working in or with brand and execution teams.
