About the role
The role sits within our Insight Team under the wider Insight and Foresight Team at Tesco. We are a recently expanded and growing team which spans the whole of Tesco.
You will be responsible for
- Analysing data sets of multiple types (research, behavioural, panel, economic) to find insight about our customers, competitors and markets that we can act on.
- Using expertise to produce accurate and actionable insight which develops and action in support of our customer growth strategy within a fast-paced environment. Work on developing story-telling to translate research to business questions.
- Work closely with other Researchers, and Insight Partners, alongside key agency partners to devise the best approaches and methods for our research studies. Be an active participant in this community of best practice.
- Work with colleagues across the Insight team to help support the development of future tools and capabilities being developed.
- On a project basis ensure these deliver against requirements, and are presented in a way to make the complex simple and land the key messages with impact.
You will need
- Previous experience either in research directly or using research in a relevant commercial industry.
- Creative problem solving and research skills to develop compelling briefs that deliver meaningful insight.
- Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple agencies.
- Strong qualitative skills married with analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Good communication skills
