About the role

Our Food Buying team sources great quality products to give our customers the best range, at the best prices. So on this programme, you’ll help manage relationships with suppliers and set up exciting new product ranges. 

You will be responsible for

During your 10-week paid programme we’ll give you real-life experience in Food Buying.  You’ll also develop new skills, from how you build relationships with colleagues and suppliers to building your commercial awareness. Plus, you’ll have a buddy on hand to support you all the way.

You’ll be supported through your programme with a variety of learning that will build your skills and develop your knowledge. It will be a mix of leadership training, networking and time with our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) networks and leadership team​.

A successful internship with us can guarantee your place on our Food Graduate Programme when you graduate - before you’ve even started your final year of study.

We’re looking for grads with a passion for products and a love for food. It’s not essential that you have any previous experience but it definitely helps if you have a commercial mind, are comfortable with data and curious of market trends and changes.
