About the role

I work in Technology to support the delivery of Workload Management Application to the Global Business, by ensuring all of the current Workload Labour Models are moved in to a new application.

You will be responsible for

  • Translating business requirements and technical details into high quality solutions and business language
  • Writing SQL scripts to extract the data required
  • Working closely with the engineering team following Agile practises to document requirements and acceptance criteria to deliver the data needs of Workload Labour Models
  • Coordinate with other Teams where required to deliver roadmap items.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
  • Taking responsibility for own development and broadening technical skills
  • Having a positive, can-do attitude and a tireless energy to get things right for our customers
  • Pro-actively growing my knowledge by understanding our data sources, understanding the needs of our stakeholders and contributing innovative solutions and ideas to problems

You will need

  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau (this is essential to be considered for the role)
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and clear way
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of the technologies relevant to data platforms
  • Understanding of common data structures and data modelling
  • Strong understanding of a store retail operation
  • Analysing and presenting data in a simple way for our stakeholders
  • Basic understand of Labour Modeling (Not essential) 
  • Experience in using Alation or Teradata SQL Assistant
