You will be responsible for

** This role is field based**

The Pre-Development and Programme manager role primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with a range of stakeholders, the successful completion of assigned Projects.

  • Manage financials, risk management, and department & external developer relations of assigned projects during the Pre-Development and Enabling works phases of the Acquisition process.
  • Monitors and coordinates all programme development projects assigned.
  • Ensure One stop’s standards of safety and quality are adhered to by championing One stop’s safety culture.
  • Mentor and Develop team members while effectively collaborating with the natural work teams.
  • Work collaboratively with Acquisitions, Project & Design Team members as well as External building surveyors, Architects and Developers.
  • Represent One stop in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Creates programme development budgets and justifications. Monitors and reports status of budgets and timings.
  • Monitor and coordinates the new store development programme.
  • Identifies and analyses programme opportunities and Strategies.  
  • Develops and articulates strategic approaches, partnerships, management, and Project design.
  • Coordinates regularly with colleagues and other departments engaged in programme development.
  • Ensures tracking database is kept up to date for all ongoing programme development.
  • Job site visits to review existing conditions.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with the all stakeholders
  • Review all Project documents, for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare Schedule of works, specification, budgets for enabling works in conjunction with the External Building surveyors.
  • Develop preconstruction schedule and monitor progress.
  • Use project management and scheduling software consistently and accurately.
  • Responsible for managing invoices and cost procedures during preconstruction.
  • Develop construction schedule with input from field.
  • Conduct team meetings, Developer/Architect/Building Surveyors meetings, and budget reviews.
  • Attend company and industry events including meetings, trainings, workshops and CPD days.
  • Other related duties as assigned or needed.

Technical Skills:

  • Candidates must have a solid understanding of the construction industry,

  • This position requires a high level of fluency reading plans, specifications, and related project documents.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management
  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager, or equivalent role, in the construction industry is desirable
