About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Resilience Manager to join the largest retailer in the UK and help to improve the resilience of the Tesco Group, incorporating our three core disciplines: business continuity, crisis management and incident management.

This role will give the successful individual breadth of experience and diverse business exposure beyond our core, developing the standard and co-ordinating delivery of the Business Resilience blueprint, providing support and advice to senior stakeholders and colleagues at a functional level.

 

You will be responsible for

  • Identifying the risks to our critical activities and essential processes
  • Developing solutions to increase the resilience of Business Units
  • The review and development of our Business Resilience Blueprint
  • The development and documentation of Incident Plans
  • Providing quality analysis and assessment on the potential impact of events to support strategic decision making
  • Managing the successful delivery of resilience by building strong relationships with the relevant colleagues across the Essential Processes
  • Developing the right communication and training materials to support colleagues to deliver resilience in our Business Units
  • Managing Group led projects to support the delivery of resilience in our Business Units
  • In a crisis, providing support to the Crisis Management Team as required
  • Contributing to my team by taking the initiative to support team activities
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and and in accordance with our values

You will need

  • A Business Resilience background with previous experience of delivering projects through influence and the development of policies and procedures
  • International Experience 
  • AMBCI preferred

For Head Office roles we therefore expect colleagues to spend a proportion of their time at our offices in Shire Park.
