About the role

Tesco Maintenance are currently looking to recruit a Operation Support Planner. At Tesco, our stores and offices couldn’t function without the support of our Maintenance Team. An Operation Support Planner is an integral part of this team, supporting the delivery of the planned and reactive maintenance work orders to our field maintenance teams. Working closely with the Store Leadership Teams, the In Store Technicians deliver statutory requirements and proactive planned maintenance promptly and in a cost effective way ensuring the business is able to continue to deliver its promise of serving Britain’s shoppers a little better every day.

You will be responsible for

  • Coordinating and planning maintenance activities through the EAM system Verisae
  • Supporting the delivery of projects into the field.  
  • Drive effectiveness and improve KPIs
  • Supporting parts delivery to the field from internal and external suppliers to help with first time fixes. 
  • Review ways to help deliver value for money across parts and processes.
  • Providing visibility on updates across all assigned work orders and MCAPS
  • Flexibility to work shift work and support within other Operation Support Centre (training-dependent), as scheduled
  • Managing my own time and resources effectively, making the most of my time at work 
  • I am the ‘go to’ person to provide work order and system updates 
  • Act with integrity and authenticity; I do what I say I will do, to build credibility
  • Understanding facts and have accurate data to help place the customer at the heart of the everything we do.
