We want you to understand the business inside out, we need you to live and embed our values and build great relationships with the amazing people across our business.

You will be responsible for

-Lead our talent and careers plan across all business areas (retail, head office & distribution), supporting local communities and shaping careers of new and existing colleagues

-Engage our senior leadership team on the talent plan for the year, gaining their sign off at key decision points and achieving continuous engagement throughout the year

-Lead our talent pipelines for all business areas, including providing visibility of talent pools, supply & demand, centrally managed development programmes & interventions

-Lead our Diversity and Inclusion plan across all business areas

-Lead the expansion of apprenticeship programmes at One Stop, including redeployment of our levy to local charity partners to support our local communities

-Lead our work supporting employability in local communities, including local recruitment and employability skills

-Monitor and review the people and business impacts of our talent plan, Including sentiment from current, new colleagues and local communities

-Build long term talent acquisition and retention plans which support our ambitions on workforce planning

-Lead and develop new and existing early careers programmes which support colleague growth and enable us to realise our business objectives

-Attend People Governance meetings with one stop Leadership Team to gain business sign off for the talent and careers plan

-Lead the recruitment and careers team at One Stop, including management of vacancies for all business areas and compliance and performance of our existing careers programmes (e.g. apprenticeships)

-Work alongside our People Leadership Team, to support delivery of our 3 year People Plan

You will need

Experience of supporting careers and talent development for large numbers of colleagues in a fast paced environment

- Experience in a People or Talent partner role in a fast paced, customer facing business

-Stakeholder management

-Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards

-Knowledge of legal accountabilities relevant to recruitment

-CIPD qualification an advantage
