You will be responsible for

Look after Colleagues:

•Update the policy hub for all colleagues to access relevant and up to date policies.

•Invest time in developing yourself.

•Ensure our colleagues are supported and receive correspondence in a timely manner.

•Support our stores and People Partners with people admin related tasks.

•Support the People Admin - Lead to ensure all store disposal plans are communicated, supportive packs ready and calculations accurate for the colleagues.

•Conduct all people related administration tasks.

•Retain all colleague data including the update of the sage system and the generation of People related reports.

Look after Customers:

•Support and assist colleagues in any people related matters to ensure they are able to focus on serving local shoppers a little better every day.

Look after Business:

•You will be a great ambassador for the One Stop brand.

•You will support the People Admin - Lead to ensure the policy hub is updated and in line with employment law.

•Look for opportunities to simplify the work, driving efficiency and output.

•Provide accurate and timely data around all Employee Relation issues.

•Support the production of the People GDA reports for the People Partner ER & Stores monthly.                                                

•Follow our business values & always acting with integrity and due diligence.

•You will ensure GDPR compliance.

You will need

  • You will preferably have experience of working in a busy fast paced office environment.
  • Ideally you will have basic knowledge of employment law, however this is a desirable and not essential.
  • You will have good time management, planning and organising skills. 
  • Good written and verbal communication is key to building strong relationships with your stakeholders.
  • You will always be looking for ideas and opportunities to build a better department/One Stop.
  • You will be flexible in the way you think, making decisions and handling change.
  • You will work together across the department and wider business to achieve a shared success.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
