About the role

Tesco Mobile are now recruiting for a Digital Data Analyst. This role will be ideal for a performance and results orientated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

You will be joining an established, but small, digital optimisation and analytics team to bolster and support on driving data and insight to improve NPS and sales across the tescomobile.com estate.

As the subject matter expert on detailed digital data, you’ll work alongside the web analyst and other marketing insight teams to seek out and gather analytical insight, stakeholder inputs, customer feedback which will help inform and drive our optimisation programme.

You will be responsible for

  • Be the “data geek” in the team
  • Provide accurate data, reporting and access to data & reporting for business users
  • Support digital and technology development teams to ensure data capture, reporting and integration into data warehouses and analytics is delivered.
  • Deliver and support daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements across the digital team and business users – not simply delivering data, but also providing insight & suggestions for improvement
  • Deliver change to existing systems, processes, reporting and analysis
  • Perform analysis on the data & reporting in order to drive customer and business insight in order to improve performance and results, in particular across
  1. Sales channels (conversion rate / sales units)
  2. Self-service channels (NPS / sentiment)

You will need

 

 

Experience of contributing to CRO initiatives

  • You are curious and forensic in your approach to customer experience problem solving through data
  • Background in digital data & analytics with hands-on attitude & ability to deliver
  • Experience of using web analytics technologies from Google and Adobe (BigQuery / Data Warehouse)
  • Experience of SQL
  • Understanding of structured data layers to extract key dimensions from web browsing behaviour
  • Experience of developing reporting and demonstrable success in taking this reporting and producing analysis that informs business decisions (e.g. budget efficiencies, improved sales performance, etc.)
  • Knowledge of digital (web, app, other), best practice design and technical understanding an advantage
  • Experience of creating automated reporting / dashboards
  • Experience of contributing to CRO initiatives
