About the role
As an Associate Product Manager working within the People function, you will support the Product Manager in designing and documenting product features based on user requirements and feedback, ensuring continuous feedback is implemented.
Working with the Product Manager, you will be collaborating with the wider programme team including business owners, engineering, testing and business change to support the development of your product. The Reward & Benefits product suite include several key solutions including online sites to allow all colleagues to administer their benefits package, total reward statements and the annual pay & bonus review cycle.
You will be responsible for
- Supporting the Product Manager to improve the product to meet the strategic roadmap requirements
- Identifying and capturing key user requirements from new business areas.
- Documenting all requirements as Epics and Stories within JIRA, so that they can be tracked across the programme.
- Completing Impact Assessments and informing other Product areas of their potential impact to reporting.
- Working through programme quality gates, from idea, to detailed requirements, so that engineering can deliver quality output.
- Supporting with process documentation with the process team
- Supporting our colleagues with the creation and updating Colleague Help Articles and supporting change activities
- Partnering with the engineering team and other product areas to support product delivery
- Continuous development of own professional development, capability, utilising learning, networks and latest thinking in this field
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
- A positive, can-do attitude, contributing to be energetic and motivated team environment.
- Experience of working in a People function and ideally Reward & Benefits
- Strong communicator and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of people analytics, people KPIs and proficient in excel as well as other applications
- Experience working in a Product or Technology background
- Critical thinking and ability to translate complex data into business action
- Ability to manage own workload able to meet deadlines/commitments in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with multiple teams to deliver projects, often across time zones
- Strong technical knowledge balanced with deep business understanding
- Building a partnership approach to working with business teams
