About the role

An exciting and fulfilling role in the Campaigns function leading impactful campaigns that build trust in Tesco.  This role also supports the development of Tesco’s position on key societal issues.

The Role

  • Lead the campaign agenda for sustainable operations and consumption, delivering campaigns that build trust in Tesco by:
    • Communicating our commitments, performance and impacts of our sustainable operations and consumption agenda
    • Advocating for systemic change on sustainable operations and consumption that support our goals
    • Providing insight to the business on societal expectations to ensure credible positions and strategy on sustainable operations and consumption
  • Opportunity to work with various teams across Tesco, including Property, Product and Customer
  • Opportunity to work with the wider Group Communications function

You will be responsible for

  • Drive credible and impactful campaigns that build trust with customers, colleagues and experts
  • Support the development of a credible and leading position for Tesco in sustainable operations and sustainable consumption (esp. diets)
  • Understand societal expectations of Tesco and ensure our Property, Distribution, Product and Customer agenda align with these expectations
  • Advocate for changes that support our sustainable operations and consumption positions
  • Lead Property and Distribution sustainability communication
  • Liaise with Customer team to drive sustainable diets campaigns
  • Work with wider Group Communications teams to deliver strategy
