About the role
As a Product Manager here at Tesco, you will play an integral part of our core colleague transformation programme and will be responsible for delivering the ‘best-in-class’ end user experience of the Core HR and Joiner, Mover and Leaver journeys.
You will be experienced in product management practice having previously guided multiple product enhancements from inception through to implementation and optimisation. You will have ownership for a large product that involves multiple internal/ external stakeholders and drive product strategy, roadmap and the execution for them.
You will be responsible for
- Create and drive forward CoreHR JML product vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Identify stakeholder groups, engage and build relationships to understand their Jobs To Be Done.
- Understand key user personas, customers & stakeholders for my product and their pain points really well
- Discover, manage and prioritise JML requirements for new Tesco Work and Pay and legacy platforms using user stories, personas, and acceptance tests
- Validate JML requirements are relevant for future waves and releases.
- Create, maintain and own the product backlog for the agreed requirements
- Assist enduring model to transfer over delivered processes.
- Work with programme and technology teams to progress product backlog through Tesco Flow methodology and sprint/ release planning sessions to deliver maximum business value in least effort
- Ensure compliance to relevant information and data security policy and standard
- Deliver to agreed KPIs and be accountable for the performance/ adoption of product and work towards increasing it
- Understand and demonstrate all of the features of my product to different audiences within and outside of my immediate product team
- Provide support and coaching to junior Product Managers as well as peers
- Driven experiments against defined hypotheses, created MVPs towards robust data-driven decisions on product improvements and their influence on product performance indicators
- Prioritise coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues independently
You will need
- Prior experience with Oracle HCM cloud (Fusion) Global HR modules and JML journeys
- Experience of configuring and implementing Oracle HCM cloud (Fusion) in a multi-site/multi-national organisation
- In-depth understanding of the Fusion HCM data model
- Experience of analysing data writing and using the Fusion reporting suites (OTBI and BIP)
- In-depth knowledge of the use of API’s specifically Oracle REST API’s
- Understanding of a typical Software Development Lifecycle and how software products are built
- A theoretical knowledge of Product management.
- Prior experience in developing/ managing a product (optional)
- Good knowledge in the use of Tools & Techniques for Backlog prioritisation, managing dependencies and for gaining insights using available data points.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the technologies relevant to product management.
- Requirements gathering experience and requirement prioritisation skills is essential
